"Alternative medicine" is often categorized together with complementary medicine using the umbrella term Complementary and alternative medicine or CAM.

A. There is a product called SINUPRET. It promotes sinus and upper respiratory health and yes, kids can take it. I have not tried it myself, but if I needed it I certainly would. Maybe typing SINUPRET in your search engine might bring it up. I have the flyer in front of me but I do not know whether I can list the website here.

Is a Dr. Alternative Medicine a good proffession?(Pay Wise?)?*
Q. Recently, i have decided to go into the medical field, so far ive looked at almost all medical fields, and so far the most interesting i believe are Internal Medicine,Pediatrics,Alter native Medicine and Psychiatry..BUt thats off topic, what im asking is, is Alternative Medicine a great proffesion? and how is the pay like, i want to be one (its on top of my list, Next to Pediatrics and Psychiatry). I have found these careers VERY interesting, and just wanted to know what the pay is like, i believe 100grand+, can anyone give me a ball park for alternative medicine? i know the rest of the salaries from Forbes and stuff.

A. Alternative medicine is tricky because it's not recognized by the western culture. Patients will not get any coverage for the services you provide. for the most profit you'd have to serve rich people.You won't get any backing from the medical community. Being an Alternative medicine Practioner is like being in business for yourself. Generally, people get into to alternative medicine becaue they believe in it, not because of the money.

Alternative medicines are usually not given out by doctors or pharmacists,the best thing to do is purchase a book on alternative medicines and learn what people who have been dealing with alternative medicines recommend for certain ailments.Also some peoples system reacts differently to alternative medicines so you should do thorough research.
